Fresh Folk Story

Mikaela Reuben is a celebrated nutritional chef known for blending the science of nutrition with the art of cooking. Grounded in the principle of bio-individuality, her approach recognizes that each person’s path to optimal health is unique.

Her passion for nutrition was sparked at age 17, when she witnessed firsthand the healing power of whole foods during her father’s recovery from a heart attack. That life-changing experience ignited a lifelong exploration of the deep connection between food and well-being.

With over 15 years of global experience, Mikaela has created personalized culinary programs for clients such as Ryan Reynolds, Blake Lively, Hugh Jackman, and Brie Larson. Her expertise spans from designing menus for Olympic athletes to preparing meals for the Dalai Lama’s 80th birthday celebration.

Beyond her private chef work, Mikaela collaborates with wellness retreats, lifestyle brands, and leading health professionals, including Dr. Mark Hyman, The Class, Lululemon, and Free People. Her work has been featured in Vogue, Forbes, Self, and Well+Good.

At the core of Mikaela’s philosophy is a powerful belief: how we nourish ourselves shapes not only our health but also who we become. With warmth and approachability, she empowers others to transform their relationship with food—turning every meal into an opportunity to thrive.
